Aliyu Gusau Mohammed Reserch Library Book Project

The Aliyu Gusau Mohammed Research Library in Kaduna Nigeria is a project of the Gusau Institute.

It was initiated by Gen. Gusau when he generously donated his extensive library for the use of the public at large. Through the efforts of Professor Buba Misawa, Ambassador Achmed Magaji and others the library received many other book donations.

The focus of the AGM Research Library is on providing information regarding international relations and security. Many of the donated books fell outside the scope of the library.

As some of these books were of great value, the library expanded its scope to accommodate other books that could be of use to the serious researcher.

Some books still fell outside the scope of the library. Books such as children's books and school books, or where more copies of a book than the library needed was available, were made up in donations and presented to institutions and libraries in and around Kaduna. Some even in other states near to Kaduna.

Thousands of books has been donated through this program.

Unloading the container is not easy
